Pickled Cucumbers

This is such an easy thing to do and it tastes amazing. The possibilities are endless, here’s just a basic recipe to get you started.

Ingredients:
1 cup white distilled vinegar
1 tsp dill seeds
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp sugar
1 lb of small cucumbers (they sell them for cheap at Aldi)
2 cloves of garlic

Directions:
Quarter the cucumbers lengthwise and put them in a jar.
Combine remaining ingredients in a small sauce pan. Bring it to a boil. Make sure the sugar is fully dissolved. Once it’s dissolved you can wait for it to cool down or just poor it over the cucumbers in the jar. Wait for it to cool down before you put it in the fridge though.
You can eat the pickles right away but it’s better to wait 2 to 3 days. Consume within in 2 weeks.
